Rescue3™ Certification - SRT (Swiftwater Rescue Technician)

Rescue3™ CERTIFICATION - FIRST RESPOND
This is an essential theoretical and practical course for anyone who works near bodies of water, such as hydroelectric power plants, dams, river construction sites, and organizations that conduct measurements. The course covers the fundamentals of self-rescue and first response in river rescue; it explains the characteristics of “moving water,” the risks associated with rivers, the dangers during a flood, and the proper actions to take in the event of an accidental fall into the water—whether it involves oneself or a coworker.

Rescue3™ Certification - SRT (Swiftwater Rescue Technician)
Course for River Rescue Technicians. The course covers the characteristics of“whitewater,” river hazards, flood risks, and the techniques to be used ina river rescue or flood rescue operation. The theoretical portion is followed by intensive hands-on training with specific exercises and scenarios. A First Responder certification is not required, but good swimming skills are necessary.

Rescue3™ CERTIFICATION - SRT ADVANCE
This isan extension of the SRT 1 course. All the techniques learned in the SRT course are applied in advanced, high-risk scenarios. Rope systems are explored in greater depth, certain vertical rescue maneuvers are introduced, and participants practice techniques for nighttime Search and Rescue (SAR). Possession of the SRT certification is required.

Rescue3™ - WRT Certification - Course for Whitewater Rescue Technicians
Course for whitewater rescue technicians. It was originally designed as a specialized course for professionals in the whitewater outdoor industry, such as rafting, kayaking, canyoning, SUP, and other activities. Recently, many rescue professionals have also been enrolling in the course to deepen their understanding of techniques in stronger currents.

Rescue3™ PATENT - RVW - CAR RESCUE - Vehicle Rescue from a Canal or River
A specialized course on rescuing a car that has fallen into a canal or river and vehicles submerged in flood zones.
Covering scenarios ranging from low to high risk, the course addresses vehicle stabilization techniques (including for RVs…), access techniques, and an overview of extraction and evacuation techniques.

Advanced Specialization - Rescue from Artificial Barriers
Advanced Specialization – Rescue from Overhangs and Artificial Barriers.

River construction workers, technicians who conduct measurements, surveys, and assessments of surface water bodies, civil defense teams supporting rescue workers, and citizens and communities living in flood-prone areas.
Highly Specialized - Rescue from Bridges and Fire Hoses
Another specialized course focused on rescue operations using high-pressure inflatable fire hoses. All possible rescue techniques using fire hoses —accessed from the banks, bridges, and walkways—are studied and practiced. The basics of rescue operations in spillways and artificial dams are also covered.

Rescue3™ CERTIFICATION - SPBH - Basic Rescue with a Raft - Basic Module
A basic course to learn how to maneuver a raft in a flood environment. This is a highly hands-on, two-day course that addresses the most common challenges in flood rescue using rafts (approaching a bridge pier, evacuating flooded homes, and much more). The instructors, in addition to being Rescue 3 instructors, are also guides and instructors for the Italian Rafting Federation.

Rescue3™ CERTIFICATION - SPBH - Raft Rescue - Advanced Module
Advanced course on using a raft as a rescue platform in flood conditions. Once the fundamentals have been mastered in the basic module, more complex scenarios are introduced, such as accessing a submerged vehicle in a current, rescue operations at artificial barriers, and recovering a body in difficult areas. The SRT and SPBH certifications are required, and having completed the SRT Advanced course is highly recommended.
