David
The backpacking leader is always on the move. If he does not teach the rules of river play, he is either exploring a new river in a remote country or you find him hanging from a paraglider in search of his next adventure.
Trainer of Rescue 3 river rescue instructors and National Guide Training Manager for the Italian Rafting Federation and the World Rafting Federation.
Miguel
Not only an experienced mountaineer in the Pyrenees and the Alps, but also an incredible river guide! He has guided on rivers from Patagonia to the Grand Canyon to the Himalayas. Despite his big muscles, he is the most tender, humble and caring person... and the girls all fall in love! This year he has the daunting task of coordinating all the hotheads of the Totem Adventure Tribe!
International Rescue 3 River Rescue Instructor and Rafting Instructor for the Italian Rafting Federation (guide trainer).
Marc
Hyperactive like few others, Marc comes from the Pyrenees and is now ready for an exciting new adventure on the Dora Baltea. He alternates his descents seasonally between Patagonia, the Pyrenees, the Alps and the Himalayas. Always with a smile on his face, great on the river but not only... a magician, circus performer: he sings and charms women, as well as madly loving vegetables :)
Advanced river rescue technician for Rescue 3 and Class V guide for the Italian Rafting Federation.
Ricky
Always the quick wit, in the front line to party in good company, he gets surprisingly serious (or almost!) when he puts on his life jacket and helmet.
12 years ago, he took part in a River Rescue course organised by Totem and from there became part of the tribe. An excellent guide, he follows the seasons around rivers in Patagonia, Nepal and Italy.
Nice lines Ricki!
Alex
A great canoeist, international guide and outdoor photographer, he decides to join Totem's tribe, bringing all his experience gained on the rivers of the Pyrenees, Alps and South/North America. As long as he stays dry, you see him calm and silent, but as soon as he touches the water he turns into an explosion of joy that you can't help but be infected by. This year, in addition to the river, you will often see him along the banks immortalising your exploits behind his Nikon. Great Galé!
Racket
His name is actually Daniel, but no one seems to remember him. Racket comes from Patagonia where he learnt on one of the most powerful rivers - the Futaleufu. His passion is white water kayaking - the harder the better! Even after a long day at work, he will look for a companion to come back and play with his kayak in the big rapids.
Faith
Still young, but already a world-class canoeist. He has explored most of the rivers in South and Central America. His passion for the river doesn't end in the rapids: in the evenings you can find him on the banks with a fishing rod to fill the grill!
Federica
She has tried everything, but can't stay away from the river world! A professional photographer, specialising in outdoor photography and a great traveller, this year she threw herself into the arduous task of organising the Totem tribe in the office! Best wishes. Always available, she will be your first contact on the phone and will welcome you with her infectious laugh in the centre.
Valeria
A graduate in motor sciences, she approached the world of rivers almost by chance, attending 'one of the many courses' offered by the faculty... and like many, she 'got under it'. After only two weeks in Valle d'Aosta, hearing so much about Himalayan rivers, she left for Nepal for the legendary expedition on the Tamur. Today you can see her whizzing around in Totem vans following your descents, while she continues her training to become a guide. Good job girl!
Camilla
The puppy of the group! Daughter of the family, because of her daddy she inherited the river bug. She tried rafting at the age of 12, then a descent in a topo duo, then in a kayak, then again in a raft... Today she can no longer stay away from the water! She has already competed in the European Youth Rafting Championship! Always willing to lend a hand where needed, you can see her darting around the base between one descent and the next... while her Latin version is still gathering dust on the table, but you don't say that! ;)
Aitor
The best photographer in the world: he will be famous! As good as bread, Aitor from the Basque Country came all the way to Italy with his twin brothers to immortalise the exploits in and out of the river with his camera! An excellent canoeist, he also goes crazy for the dance floor. Is there a party in the area? He's there!
Mex
Our legendary driver, who for many years has managed to make the impossible possible! Driving a huge 4x4 van and a trolley with a stack of rafts as if it were a bicycle, he always manages to be at the landing points before the rafts arrive! Of few words, but with a giant heart.
