The backpacking leader is always on the move. If he does not teach the rules of river play, he is either exploring a new river in a remote country or you find him hanging from a paraglider in search of his next adventure.
Trainer of Rescue 3 river rescue instructors and National Guide Training Manager for the Italian Rafting Federation and the World Rafting Federation.

His nickname is feather. If David, the founder, also fell in love with paragliding, it is his fault.
A top driver, Davide has been competing on the world cup circuit for many years. No one could stop him until he landed in Brazil and met 'someone'. Now there are three of them.
Miguel
He is not only an experienced mountaineer, who grew up between the peaks of the Pyrenees and the Alps, but also an extraordinary river guide. From Patagonia to the Grand Canyon to the raging waters of the Himalayas, he has navigated rivers in every corner of the world.
At base he faces a real daily challenge - coordinating all the hotheads of the Totem Adventure Tribe... and he always does it with a smile!

Marc
He paddles, skis, climbs and has the green thumb of an experienced gardener. A lover of good, healthy food, he knows the Aosta Valley better than most locals - every nook and cranny, every path, every stream. After so many years with us, he has developed an unerring eye for everything that can be improved in the base. If something escapes others, he has already noticed it... and probably fixed it.

Ricky
Always the quick wit, in the front line to party in good company, he gets surprisingly serious (or almost!) when he puts on his life jacket and helmet.
12 years ago, he took part in a River Rescue course organised by Totem and from there became part of the tribe. An excellent guide, he follows the seasons around rivers in Patagonia, Nepal and Italy.

He came to Totem when he was only 16 years old, with an overwhelming passion for the river... much stronger than his passion for school!
In a short time, he has demonstrated talent, dedication and a visceral love for rafting.
At only 18 years old, he gained the Class V Rafting Guidethus taking the podium as the youngest guide in the history of Totem Adventure!
Pablo
Originally from the Basque Country, he brings with him an infectious smile and an innate talent for languages... all he lacks is Valdostan!
A graduate in Motor Sciences, he is a true force of nature: tireless and always on the move, after a full day of rafting you can still find him on the Dora, paddling for pleasure in the toughest sections. Although, to be honest, in the evenings the most heated challenge is often Risk!

In the river for as long as he can remember, he learnt to read water before the pages of a book. He speaks as casually about the river's water level as he does about Hegel's maximum systems. He came to the base very young, full of enthusiasm and willingness to learn, and has been an official guide since 2025. A true philosopher of life (when he wants to), and we could not be happier to have him with us.

Federica
She has tried everything, but can't stay away from the river world! A professional photographer, specialising in outdoor photography and a great traveller, this year she threw herself into the arduous task of organising the Totem tribe in the office! Best wishes. Always available, she will be your first contact on the phone and will welcome you with her infectious laugh in the centre.
Valeria
A graduate in motor sciences, she approached the world of rivers almost by chance, attending 'one of the many courses' offered by the faculty... and like many, she 'got under it'. After only two weeks in Valle d'Aosta, hearing so much about Himalayan rivers, she left for Nepal for the legendary expedition on the Tamur. Today you can see her whizzing around in Totem vans following your descents, while she continues her training to become a guide. Good job girl!
Camilla
The puppy of the group! Daughter of the family, because of her daddy she inherited the river bug. She tried rafting at the age of 12, then a descent in a topo duo, then in a kayak, then again in a raft... Today she can no longer stay away from the water! She has already competed in the European Youth Rafting Championship! Always willing to lend a hand where needed, you can see her darting around the base between one descent and the next... while her Latin version is still gathering dust on the table, but you don't say that! ;)

As soon as she was born she already had one foot in the dinghy: she has been with us forever, and she has seen a lot of water under the bridge! At the base, she is rational, precise and reliable: Federica's right-hand man, with an ever-watchful eye on everything that happens. Outside work, she lets herself be guided by wonder: she loves to lose herself among plants and animals, with a genuine passion for every form of life that populates nature.
Mari
There is no detail that escapes her when she has her camera in hand. She is everywhere, but without being noticed: her talent lies in capturing the naturalness in the gestures and faces of those preparing to take on a beautiful challenge.
Very sweet, she will always greet you with her gentle smile.
